Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for the year 2017. In Medellin the year of Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his first long-player. The album reached number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year, he joined forces with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. Mala Influencia was released in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album that year. In 2021, he sang a duet. he sang a duet in 2021 along with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, since both his mom and his older brother are musicians. In his interviews, he said the importance of music as a requirement. Although his first choice of career was to become a veterinarian his brother Julian advised him to go for lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban teacher and the end consequence of him discovering his gift as a singer altered the direction of his life.
