Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September, 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actor. She is best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well in ABC's Lost TV show. The couple had separated and they moved together with their mother in Los Angeles. She was struggling to survive at the time she landed her first acting role in Rachel's Room's lead character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murdered Martha Moxley. In 2004 Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost in which she acted as a principal actor for the first two seasons winning a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. After leaving the show, Grace wanted to appear as a film actress, and had played opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson. She reprised her role for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice In Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised her role as Shannon in Lost, including the finale. In 2013, she appeared in Season 6 of Californication. She plays Faith who is both a star-gazer and socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Part of the Gyllenhaal family She is the child of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and is the younger sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was a teenager, she began to work on small roles with her father and appeared in Donnie Darko along with her brother. She then appeared on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in both the drama Sherrybaby (2005) as well as the romantic comedy Secretary (2002). Both films received acclaim from critics. Following several commercially-successful films, like World Trade Center in 2006 her fame grew in the role of Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). In 2009, she was recognized as the best supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal of a single mother as she appeared in Crazy Heart. In the following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Her other roles include a Secret Service agent in the action-thriller White House Down (2013) and a musician in Frank (2014) and The title role in the drama The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). In 2021, Gyllenhaal made her writing and directed debut in the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she won an award at the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
